Auspicious Pear Dumplings
Ingredient
- Japanese dumpling wrappers
Dumpling Filling
- 200g Prawns, cubed
- 220g Chicken, minced
- 200g Korean golden pear, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 100g Cabbage, shredded
- 50g Carrot, diced
- 2 tsp Corn flour
- 2 tsp Sesame oil
- ½ tsp White pepper
- 2 tbsp Angel Light Soy Sauce (Selected)
Dipping Sauce
- 3 tbsp Korean golden pear, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Young ginger, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Garlic, nely chopped
- 1 tbsp Coriander, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Angel Light Soy Sauce (Selected)
- 1 tbsp Angel Bean Paste (Minced)
- ½ tbsp Angel Oyster Sauce
- 2 tbsp Angel Sriracha Hot Chilli Sauce
- 1 tbsp White vinegar
- Combine all the dipping sauce ingredients, mix well and set aside.
- Prepare dumpling filling by combining all the ingredients together. Use a spoon to mix well.
- To assemble a dumpling, place a piece of dumpling wrapper on your palm and spoon 1 teaspoon of filling in the center. Do not overll. Dip your index finger into some water and moisten the outer edge of the wrapper. Fold the dumpling to form a half moon shape. Repeat till all the filling is used up.
- Arrange the dumplings on a parchment paper, and put inside a steamer.
- Heat a pot of water and bring to a boil. Steam the dumplings on high heat for 6-8 minutes.
- Serve hot with the dipping sauce.
