Teochew Steamed Fish
Ingredients (A)
- Pomfret 800 gm
- Soft doufu (cut into cubes) 1 piece
- Belly meat (sliced) 60 gm
- Mushrooms (sliced)
Ingredients (B)
- Broth 600 ml
- Angel Plum Sauce 1 tbsp
- Angel Light Soy Sauce (Selected) 1 tbsp
- Pickled mustard (shredded) 50 gm
- Pickled plum 2
- Tomato (sliced) 1
- Red chili (sliced) 1
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Pepper ½ tsp
- Angel Pure Sesame Oil 1 tsp
- Shao Sheng Wine to taste
Garnishing
- Ginger (shredded) 1 tbsp
- Coriander 1 tbsp
- Spring onion 1 tbsp
- Put ingredients B in pot to boil until aromatic, add in doufu, belly meat, mushrooms and boil until meat is cooked.
- Arrange fish in a steamer and steam for 12 minutes. Remove and pour out excess water.
- Pour cooked ingredients from (1) onto fish, sprinkle top with garnishing and serve hot. Angel Plum Sauce The taste that boosts your appetite
